Wichita KS wedding photographer – Kelsea & Ryan

Kelsea & Ryan are married!!

It was a beautiful day for a beautiful wedding! The weather was amazing and the entire day was just perfect! I met the wedding party at Tanganyika Wildlife Park which was the location for their amazing ceremony and reception. It is absolutely one of my favorite places to shoot!

Kelsea’s flowers from Stems Floral filled the room with the amazing smell of gerber daisys and roses! They were amazing! Before we knew it, it was time for Kelsea to get into her beautiful gown from Parrot-fa-nalia. It was perfect! She wore it well with her silver boots! They guys were getting all decked out in their tuxes from Parrot-fa-nalia and Ryan was looking sharp in his grey tux. Him mom helped him pin on his boutonniere and his dad adjusted his tie.

Before we knew it, it was time for Kelsea & Ryan’s First Look! If you have never heard of this, its simple. Its a special time prior to the ceremony for just the Bride and Groom (we are standing from afar capturing this for you!). This is the WOW moment for the couple to see each other for the first time without the stress of 300 guests watching in the background! The emotion and expressions from a First Look usually are more natural and raw than during the ceremony and it relieves any stress prior to the ceremony. This also gives you plenty of time to do your formal photographs prior to the ceremony as well.

Kelsea and I had met up a few weeks prior for a Simply Diva Session. She gave Ryan a For Your Eyes Only Album during the first look … I think he liked it!!!

The guests were seated and it was time for Kelsea & Ryan’s ceremony. Kelsea’s father walked her down the isle. Ryan watched as his beautiful bride approached. So sweet! They shared in the exchanging of vows, rings and had a unity sand ceremony, and sealed the deal with an amazing first kiss as husband and wife!

After the ceremony, the guests wished Kelsea & Ryan off and all headed into the reception area for the dinner and dance reception. We had a few moments to get a few more images before they were announced to their guests.

Kelsea & Ryan were announced into their reception with applause from all their family and friends! They shared an amazing dinner provided by Hog Wild BBQ. The Best Man and Maid of Honor gave their heartfelt toasts. Kelsea & Ryan cut into their beautiful cake provided by a very talented family friend and mingled with their guests.

Kelsea & Ryan had their super fun first dance as husband and wife and it was amazing! Their dance was followed by father/daughter and mother/son dances. The couple invited their guests to participate in a dollar dance and the bouquet and garter toss. The guests danced the night away with music provided by Complete Music and it was a perfect ending to a perfect day! Their guests sent them off with a giant balloon farewell!

Congrats you two! Here are a few of my fav’s from their day! You can view their full gallery HERE.

Wichita KS wedding photographer – Elizabeth & Robert

Elizabeth and Robert are married!!

It was a beautiful day for a beautiful wedding! The weather was amazing and the entire day was just perfect! I met up with Elizabeth at her parent’s house where she had her hair and makeup done before heading to the church. The beautiful wedding ceremony was held at St Elizabeth Ann Seton.

Elizabeth’s flowers from The Flower Factory filled the room with the amazing smell of hydrangeas and orchids! They were amazing! Before we knew it, it was time for Elizabeth to get into her beautiful gown from Dress Gallery. It was perfect! They guys were getting all decked out in their tuxes from Dress Gallery while Robert was looking sharp in his Air Force dress blues.

It was such a beautiful day to meet up with Elizabeth & Robert! We met at Starbucks, which was the location of their first date! I was so super excited for this because I love Engagement Sessions … and coffee! Really, how could it get any better??

We enjoyed some coffee and the lovely Barista even made a heart in the foam! Super amazing!!

I love couples like Elizabeth & Robert because they are so sweet and in love that they need little direction at all! You can just feel the love oozing from their images!!

Robert is in the Air Force so of course, I had to ask if he could get us in at the Air Force Base for some images with the planes! I love incorporating their interests into their session!
