I had such a great time shooting Jay’s Senior Scene Session! He is so photogenic and just a natural in front of the camera!

The family invited me to come to their farm and there were some fabulous spots! I love all the rustic wood and bright colors! It’s amazing when they can really portray their everyday life into their session!

Congrats Jay and best of luck to whatever you future holds!

Wichita KS wedding photographer – Kaylee & Ross

Kaylee & Ross are married!!!

What an amazing day it was! The weather was perfect considering all the rain we have gotten lately! I met up with the ladies at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pratt where the girls were getting ready. The girls were getting all dolled up and relaxing. After a few detail shots of Kaylee’s amazing purple shoes and accessories, it was time for her to get into her beautiful gown from Accent Bridal. The gorgeous flowers provided by a family friend filled the air with fragrance.

The guys arrived ready to go in their sharp gray jackets and bright green shirts to match the peacock theme. Before we knew it, it was time for Kaylee & Ross’ First Look! If you have never heard of this, its simple. Its a special time prior to the ceremony for just the Bride and Groom (we are standing from afar capturing this for you!). This is the WOW moment for the couple to see each other for the first time without the stress of 400 guests watching in the background! The emotion and expressions from a First Look usually are more natural and raw than during the ceremony and it relieves any stress prior to the ceremony. This also gives you plenty of time to do your formal photographs prior to the ceremony as well.

The guests were seated and it was time for Kaylee & Ross’ ceremony. Kaylee’s father walked her down the isle. Ross watched as his beautiful bride approached. So sweet! They had a full mass ceremony and shared in the exchanging of vows, rings and had a unity sand ceremony, and sealed the deal with an amazing first kiss as husband and wife!

After the ceremony, the guests wished Kaylee & Ross off and all headed to the reception at the Pratt 4-H grounds for the dinner and dance reception. The wedding party hopped on the surprise K-State party bus and traveled to a few locations for fun and photos! We stopped in a wheat field where the breeze was just perfect and then to the old train depot! We had a few moments to snag some awesome images of just the Bride and Groom before we headed back and they were announced to their guests.

The entire wedding party followed by Kaylee & Ross were announced into their reception with applause from all their family and friends! They shared an amazing dinner by Hog Wild BBQ with their guests and the Best Man and Maid of Honor gave their heartfelt toasts. Kaylee & Ross cut into their beautiful cake provided by a very talented aunt of the Bride and mingled with their guests.

Kaylee & Ross had their super sweet first dance as husband and wife. Their dance was followed by father/daughter and mother/son dances. The couple invited their guests to participate in a military and servicemen dedication dance followed by the bouquet and garter toss. The guests danced the night away and it was a perfect ending to a perfect day!

Congrats you two! Here are a few of my fav’s from their day! You can view their full gallery HERE.

Linsey & Craig are married!!!

What an amazing day it was! The weather was perfect! It started off a little chilly but by the time we were ready to shoot, it was amazing! I met up with the ladies at the Courtyard by Marriott in Salina where the girls were getting ready. The girls were getting hair and makeup done and relaxing. Once Linsey was in her beautiful gown from Gown Gallery in Kansas City, we headed to Elizabeth Ann Seton church in Salina to meet up with the guys.

The guys arrived ready to go in their sharp gray tuxes and Chucks. Before we knew it, it was time for Linsay & Craig’s First Look! If you have never heard of this, its simple. Its a special time prior to the ceremony for just the Bride and Groom (we are standing from afar capturing this for you!). This is the WOW moment for the couple to see each other for the first time without the stress of 150 guests watching in the background! The emotion and expressions from a First Look usually are more natural and raw than during the ceremony and it relieves any stress prior to the ceremony. This also gives you plenty of time to do your formal photographs prior to the ceremony as well.

The guests were seated and it was time for Linsay & Craig’s ceremony. The couple’s daughter Vada tossed flower petals down the isle and Linsey’s father walked her down the isle. Craig watched as his beautiful bride approached. So sweet! They had a full mass ceremony and shared in the exchanging of vows, rings and had a unity candle ceremony, and sealed the deal with an amazing first kiss as husband and wife!

After the ceremony, the guests wished Linsey & Craig off and all headed into the reception area for the dinner and dance reception. The wedding party hopped on the party bus and traveled to a few locations for fun and photos! We stopped in at the Blue Skye Brewery where the wedding party celebrated with drinks! We cleared a little area for a few images of the new Bride & Groom on the bar too! We had a few more moments to stop at the park for a few more images before we headed back and they were announced to their guests.

The entire wedding party followed by Linsey & Craig were announced into their reception with applause from all their family and friends! They shared an amazing dinner with their guests and the Best Man and Maid of Honor gave their heartfelt toasts. Linsey & Craig cut into their beautiful cake provided by a very talented local baker and mingled with their guests. The reception was decorated beautifully by Artful Events in Salina.

Linsey & Craig had their super sweet first dance as husband and wife as their beautiful daughter Vada joined in .. and it was amazing! Their dance was followed by father/daughter and mother/son dances. The couple invited their guests to participate in a wedding party march and the bouquet and garter toss. Wichita KS wedding photographer – Tori & Adam

Tori & Adam are married!!!

What an amazing day it was! The weather was perfect, just the right amount of clouds with a few sprinkles throughout the day! I met up with the wedding party at Grace Presbyterian Church in Wichita. The girls were getting hair and makeup done and relaxing.

The guys arrived and started getting ready in their sharp tuxes from Men’s Warehouse. We headed out for the guys only photos first. They were all so much fun to work with and up for anything! They then went back into their dressing room to be locked away while the girls got dressed. Tori had many laughs with her girls as she got into her amazing wedding gown from David’s Bridal.

We stepped out for the girls only photos. These ladies are awesome! They all looked amazing and were a joy to be around! We had a few moments for a meeting spot for Tori and Adam. They did not want to see each other prior to the ceremony but we had a place where they could be in the same room and hold hands for a few moments. How entirely sweet that was!!

The guests were seated and it was time for Tori & Adam’s ceremony. Tori’s father walked her down the isle. Adam watched as his beautiful bride approached. So sweet! They shared in the exchanging of vows, rings and had a unity knot tie ceremony, and sealed the deal with an amazing first kiss as husband and wife!

They had a bubble exit with probably the most bubbles I have ever seen! Their guests headed to Beech Activity Center for a cocktail hour while the family and wedding party stayed for formal photos.

The wedding party loaded into the Limo from Worldwide Limo Service and we stopped at a nice spot for some photos of just the newly married couple! I am in LOVE with the connection these two have! Simply amazing!!

Tori & Adam were announced into their reception with applause from all their family and friends! They shared an amazing dinner provided by Beech Activity Center. The wedding party gave their heartfelt toasts. Tori & Adam cut into their beautiful cake provided by Cake Affairs and mingled with their guests.

Tori & Adam had their super sweet first dance as husband and wife and it was amazing! Their dance was followed by father/daughter and mother/son dances. The couple invited their guests to participate in an anniversary dance and the bouquet and garter toss. The guests danced the night away with music provided byEQ Soundsand it was a perfect ending to a perfect day!

Congrats you two! Here are a few of my fav’s from their day! You can view their full gallery HERE.
